2026 Semester 2 Finals Schedule

7th, 8th & 11th grade CMAS Testing Next Week

CMAS testing for 7th, 8th & 11th grade students starts on Monday (detailed bell schedules are below).
State testing is required for all students, the policies around testing are in our Student Handbook. The data from these tests are important for several reasons:
  • Using data to identify what students need with regards to interventions, supports, and extensions is best practice.
  • Our data and participation rates impact our school accreditations.
  • Teachers use data to determine what is working, where to focus and how to help students grown.
Please note these dates:
  • 7th: 3/30-4/1 Math & ELA CMAS
  • 8th: 3/30-4/1 Math & ELA, CMAS
  • 11th: 4/1-4/2 Science 11 CMAS (2)
  • 9th-11th grade: 4/21: SAT/PSAT -
  • 8th grade: 4/21 Science

Please reach out with anything. Thank you for your support of our schools.

MS Morning PE before CMAS testing

Dear Middle School Families,
During CMAS testing week, we would like to invite you to join your student in the gym for some morning movement before the school day begins.
The gym will be open on Tuesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 1 from 7:30–8:05 AM for students and families to be active together. This is a great opportunity to help students wake up, reduce stress, and start their day with positive energy before testing.
Research consistently shows that even short bouts of physical activity before school can improve focus, increase alertness, and support memory and learning. Movement helps boost blood flow to the brain, enhances mood, and can reduce test anxiety—setting students up for greater success in the classroom.
Parents and guardians are welcome to:
  • Play a one-on-one game with your child
  • Join in on a team activity
  • Simply enjoy some active time together
We encourage all students to take advantage of this time to get their bodies moving and their minds ready for the day.
We hope to see you there!
Best regards,
The Physical Education Team

School Climate Surveys

As part of monitoring our Ends Policy goal of fostering a safe and healthy community through “consistent student and staff culture across buildings which supports achieving our ends”, we will once again have students in grades 3-12, staff, and parents complete the School Climate Assessment Instruments (SCAI) developed and administered by the Alliance for the Study of School Climate (ASSC) in the month of March. The SCAI surveys, which are scientifically developed and third-party administered and analyzed, are rated as one of the most effective school climate tools. Below are the links to the parent survey in both English and Spanish. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey, as it provides valuable data on areas of strength and improvement. This survey will be open through the month of March.
