Tony Gleria: His enthusiasm and skill for playing roles in Romeo & Juliet have added such joy to the scene we act out and have helped his classmates understand the play more in depth.

Tech Update

One to One & BYOD:

We have decided to move forward with 1:1 for all grades for next year. Thank you all for your input and questions. We are now entering the phase of how we will do this questions on the table include but are not limited to:
  1. What device will we use (currently being researched)?
  2. Will we do a graduated plan or all at once?
  3. Will 7-9 upgrade to the plus version of the device chosen?
  4. Will all/some have access to personal email on the school issued device?
  5. Will we give students school email addresses?

In researching, the majority of school across the country have implemented 1:1, we are reaching out to various schools to see what they have done. If you have thoughts or input please feel free to send them my way.

ALMA:
We will also be moving to ALMA for our Student Information System. All Registration and scheduling for next year will take place in PowerSchool and we will transition to ALMA on August 1st. We believe ALMA will improve the user experience for all as well as provide the level of security needed to protect data.
