We are starting our planning for the 26 - 27 school year. Our teachers and teams have been busy looking at course offerings, updating course descriptions, and creating possible electives. I want to outline our process and timeline as well as give dates for informational meetings.
February 25th: 9th grade Academic Planning Night @ 5:15
- Target Audience: current 8th grade parents and any 9th or 10th grade parent who wants to learn more about HS programming.
- Topics Covered: course selection, graduation requirements, latin honors system,
March 3rd @ 5:15: Junior Parent Night
- Target Audience: All juniors and their parents - strongly recommended/mandatory!
- Topics Covered: college application process, upcoming testing for this year
March 11th @ 5:15: MS Transition Night
- Target Audience: 6th grade parents and any 7th grade parents who want to learn about MS programming
Starting March 3rd, Alex Jones and Jenni Ward will be going into classes to begin the course selection process. All students need to choose their courses by March 13th. This helps us determine our staffing needs for next year.
By April 3rd, all families need to be registered for the next school year; registration directions are below. In order for us to build a schedule for your child, you must be registered. If your child is not returning to TMHS next year, please let us know ASAP.
Directions for 2026-2027 PowerSchool Registration:
- Log onto the TSD PowerSchool Parent Portal.
- Click on “Forms” on the left-hand side.
- Complete Forms C and E.
- Review Form A for changes.
