Miner Shout Outs!

Hugh Hatcher's work supporting middle schoolers in Profe Maraboli's Tutorial Class was the inspiration for the new TMS Tutoring program during Tutorial periods where we pair THS Tutors with groups of TMS students. He's one of the busy seniors that makes time in tutorial to help build math confidence!
Alyssa Lawson, Ford Fenton, Gunnar Robinson, Evan Stogner, Emily Tuohy, Gage Busbee, Grayden O'Neill, and Brady Ramirez Martinez jumped right into our TMS Tutoring program this semester as new tutors during Tutorial periods. They are flexible, kind role models who are helping middle school students feel connected and encouraged while they practice math.
Gunnar Drew, Eli Ellison, Harper Lapp, and Madeline McNamara are returning tutors who provide math support and practice to middle school students, as well as leadership and guidance to our newer tutors in a new program. Their commitment to their academics, activities, and this service opportunity is impressive and reflects the Miner Way.
Zephyr Basham is always willing to pitch in, he's always friendly, too.
Ingram Olson - This year he did an amazing job of answering questions for other middle school students who were attending the regional STEAM Fair for the first time. I think he really helped students feel comfortable with what to expect and how to handle themselves with the judges.
Tomas Bautista - Although he wasn't initially on the list to attend the regional STEAM Fair, he did an incredible job of advocating for himself in order to become a participant. He asked thoughtful questions, got himself registered, and clearly practiced before the competition as he ended up placing first in his category.
Caroline (Jaye) Mahoney: Is so kind and helpful to others in class
Brady Ramirez- always kind and respectful to everyone in class, does great work, and helps out other students. He exemplifies the Miner Way!
Jennifer Ordoñez- she is always willing to support students in class.
Jia Crowe - She is very proactive when need to catch up with work and is a hard worker.
Kat Kress- She is a great students to have in class , she works hard.
Maya Santa Ana is doing a great job organizing all of the senior yearbook submissions. She is a great communicator who is organized and thorough.
Ian Fernald always arrives with a smile on his face and a thoughtful greeting. He works well with all and projects kindness.
Luka Trujillo brightens with room with her positive attitude. She is a thoughtful and kind teammate, ready to help others anytime.
Ford Fenton works hard in class, respects all of her classmates and makes our school a better place!
Rene Ordonez Ramirez makes our school a more fun place to be with his infections sense of humor! He also works hard and treats everyone with respect and kindness.
