I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Memorial Day Weekend. I want to wish you a happy last week of school! Thank you for your continued support and helping your students finish the year successfully.
I want to invite you to join in our Class of 2025 celebrations. Our community comes together to support graduating seniors with scholarships. Please tune in to www.koto.org on Tuesday, May 27th at 6 pm to listen to the awarding of scholarships. On Wednesday, May 28th, we will have our annual “Senior Parade” where the class of 2025 is honored and celebrated by our community. Please come out, line Colorado Ave and cheer on our graduates.
I want to thank Annie Carlson for serving as the co-chair of our Miner Community Meetings which happen monthly over the course of the year. If you are interested in taking on this role with Kathleen Merritt please let me know at skimble@telluride.k12.co.us

Our final days of school follow our exam schedule EXAM SCHEDULE
Please note:
Students are expected to be present for the entire exam block.
Students do not need to show up for an AP class period.
Students who are not passing classes are expected to be in tutorial until they take the exam for that class.
MS students are permitted to go to Clarks for break and leave after 12:45 if they are passing all their classes.
Important end of year reminders:
Students need to clean out their lockers.
Students and parents: please check the lost and found.
Parents: please pay your student bills with a check or credit card at the front desk.
Students, please return any athletic uniforms.
Students, please return chromebooks and chargers.
Students, return any borrowed books, calculators.
**Anything not returned will incur a fee***
As we prep for the 2025 - 2026 school year please note we are still looking for a math teacher, if you know of anyone please send them my way. We are finishing student schedules and they will be available in August. We are also planning for Fall PE; if you would like to volunteer to support a group please let me know at skimble@telluride.k12.co.us
Important dates:
We wish you a wonderful summer. Along with our front desk staff I will be working during June and out of town most of July. We will be back in the office by August 1st. Please note, our campus is under construction this summer, the only access is the front desk in June. Our weight room will not be open for student access this summer; we hope to have this back in the future.
