Hello Seniors,


Every year the Telluride High School works with the Daily Planet to put together a special senior insert in our local newspaper. Well, now it is your turn to contribute your senior statements for this newspaper that will come out on graduation day.  This year I get the privilege of organizing the issue with you and the Daily Planet staff.  We need to collect all senior statements for the newspaper by Friday, April 25th. Below are the specifics you need to know.  And, congratulations, you are almost there!

Senior Statement: What is it?: This can be your common app essay, a thank you letter to people who have supported you, a piece of your own artwork with a short description, a poem, a quote, something about yourself, etc…Please take a look at the examples brought into class or come by Ms. Coddington’s room (315) to look at examples. MAX LENGTH: 650 words


Where do I submit it? 

Please submit your document to Ms. Coddington’s 2025 Senior Statement Google Doc Folder. Your senior statement needs to be in google doc format. If you have a pdf, please transfer it to a google doc. Please remember to share your doc with Ms. Coddington: (hcoddington@telluride.k12.co.us)


The title of the document needs to be: Last Name_First Name_Senior Statement

Once you open this folder, please Open in SHARED WITH ME and while in the folder, UPLOAD a file (be sure it is a google doc).


DEADLINE: Friday, April 25th! The newspaper has strict deadlines, so no late submission will be accepted.  


Pictures for the paper: We will use the pictures submitted to Mrs. Rosen for the yearbook as your photo for the paper. Please be sure you have submitted that photo to Mrs. Rosen.
