October was here and now it is out the door. November is well under way and the Halloween aftermath is cleaned up! Thanks for allowing your students to participant and have a really fun day.

TMHS Scholarship Recipients will need to pick up their scholarship award letters at the front desk. Telski Scholarship Award recipients will need to take their scholarship award letter and register for Telski Ski PE at the Telski Ticket office at the bottom of Oak Street by Telluride Sports on Nov. 4th or Nov. 5th from Noon - 6pm. The school will provide a Spanish translator on each day between 3:30pm - 6pm.

Registration for all Winter PE activities opens Nov. 4th at 8am - Nov. 9th at midnight. Please click here for the Winter PE Options and Registration information.

Technology Update: We are going through a process to create more student security by having students change and update passwords. Come learn about literacy at Telluride Schools! In September, we reflected on what initiatives have been started and our fall literacy data. At this meeting, we will consider next steps in how best to support all students with becoming proficient readers. This will be a great time for parents and community members to learn more about how TSD is using the Science of Reading and to offer feedback and ideas.  We will meet at TIS in Room 111. Please reach out to Emily Bordogna, District Literacy Coordinator, with any questions (embordogna@telluride.k12.co.us). If you’d prefer to Zoom into the meeting, the link is HERE.

 

Telluride High School’s new Miner Dome Broadcasting club is coming to the airwaves! On Thursday, October 17th at 4pm the club will live broadcast (in Spanish) the Telluride-Ridgeway boys varsity soccer game from Telluride High school. Tune in on your FM dial or at koto.org
